• Comply with the rental shop's policies and any signed waiver agreements
• Use rented equipment responsibly and return it in the same condition
• Be at least 18 years of age or have parental/guardian consent
• Not misuse the platform or attempt to circumvent any security measures

4. Reservations and Payments

Reservations made through Penny are subject to availability and confirmation by the rental shop. Payment terms, including deposits and cancellation policies, are set by each individual shop and will be clearly displayed during the booking process. By completing a reservation, you authorize the specified charges to your payment method.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation and refund policies vary by rental shop. Please review the specific shop's cancellation policy displayed during checkout before completing your reservation. Refund processing times may vary depending on your payment method and financial institution.

6. Liability and Waivers

Bike rental involves inherent risks. You may be required to sign a liability waiver before your rental. By using rented equipment, you assume all risks associated with its use. Neither Penny nor the rental shop shall be liable for injuries or damages resulting from the use of rental equipment, except where prohibited by law.

7. Communications

By providing your contact information, you consent to receive transactional communications related to your reservations (confirmations, reminders, etc.). SMS message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of SMS communications at any time, though this may affect your ability to receive important rental reminders.

8. Intellectual Property

The Penny platform, including its design, features, and content, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our express written permission.

9. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Service. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
